What is the Fikr-e-Sadaat Welfare Foundation USA's main mission?
Our mission is to raise funds in the United States to support needy Sadaat-e-Kiraam families in Pakistan with dignity, using exclusively pure wealth (non-Zakat funds) in accordance with Shariah teachings.
What key types of assistance does the Foundation offer?
Through your donations, we provide comprehensive support in Pakistan including medical aid, education, employment opportunities, marriage assistance, monthly financial support, grocery distribution, disaster relief, and funeral services.
Who specifically does the Foundation serve?
We serve the Sadaat-e-Kiraam community in Pakistan—descendants of the Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) who are in low socio-economic status but maintain their dignity and do not beg.
How does the Foundation promote self-sufficiency and employment?
Your contributions fund Self-employment Micro Finance Schemes in Pakistan, including distributing sewing machines, providing skills training, and assisting Sadaat individuals in setting up small businesses like tailoring shops and puncture repair shops.
What is "pure wealth" and why is it important to your mission?
"Pure wealth" refers to funds other than Zakat. According to Shariah teachings, Sadaat-e-Kiraam (descendants of the Prophet ﷺ) cannot receive Zakat, so we exclusively use pure wealth to help them with dignity and respect.
How did the Foundation respond during the 2022 Pakistan floods?
With generous donor support from the US and locally, we responded swiftly by distributing essential necessities including food rations, tents, clean water, and other vital supplies to 200+ Sadaat families affected by devastating floods in Sindh province, Pakistan.
Do you provide updates on how my donation is used?
Absolutely! Donors receive regular email updates with stories, photos, and reports showing the direct impact of their contributions on Sadaat families in Pakistan.
Do you help with education, and how?
Yes! Your donations help us promote quality education in Pakistan by covering monthly school fees, providing uniforms, textbooks, school bags, and stationery to Sadaat children, ensuring they have access to educational opportunities.
When was the organization established, and what have you achieved?
The Foundation was established in May 2022. With donor support, we currently provide monthly rations to 400+ Sadaat families in Pakistan and have assisted 200+ flood-affected families in Sindh province.
Are donations to Fikr-e-Sadaat Welfare Foundation USA tax-deductible?
Yes! We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by US law. You will receive a tax receipt for your records.
